2. General Information on Data Processing
When you visit this website, personal data is processed only to the extent necessary to provide and secure the website, to provide features you explicitly request, or to handle contact inquiries.
The website does not use browser-based web analytics, user tracking, or marketing or advertising trackers.
For aggregated statistical analysis of website access, the server-side Webalizer statistics provided by the hosting provider are used. Further details can be found in section 10.
During a normal visit while not logged in, the website currently does not set its own cookies for analytics or tracking purposes.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by
ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich
Hauptstraße 68
02742 Friedersdorf
Germany
.
When you access the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection and access data. This may include, in particular:
- IP address
- date and time of access
- requested file or URL
- amount of data transferred
- access status
- referrer URL
- browser type and browser version
- operating system and language settings
This processing is necessary to deliver the website, ensure secure and stable operation, and detect technical attacks or misuse.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in providing this website securely, reliably, and in a technically functional manner.
Personal log data is processed only for as long as necessary for operation, troubleshooting, security, or compliance with legal obligations.
4. Contact and Contact Form
A contact form is available on the “Contact & Support” page.
The following information is processed:
- Name
- Email address
- selected subject
- content of the message
You must also confirm that you have read the Privacy Policy. This confirmation does not constitute separate consent to any processing beyond that described here.
A telephone number is not collected through the form.
Messages submitted through the contact form are not stored permanently in the WordPress database. They are sent to the project by email. The associated email mailbox is also hosted by ALL-INKL.COM.
The processing takes place in order to handle your message, respond to tips or questions, and communicate with you.
The legal basis is generally Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in handling communications directed to the project.
Where an inquiry relates to entering into or performing a contractual relationship, the processing may additionally be based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Messages are retained only for as long as necessary to process and document the matter concerned. Longer retention may be necessary to document relevant research or source tips, to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, or to comply with statutory retention obligations.
Please avoid submitting particularly sensitive personal data or login credentials through the contact form.
5. Protection of the Contact Form
The contact form uses technical safeguards to protect against automated and abusive submissions.
These include, in particular, a WordPress security token (nonce), an invisible honeypot field, and a timing-based plausibility check.
For these purposes, the contact form does not store your IP address in WordPress and does not set cookies.
6. Fonts via jsDelivr
A resource for displaying the “Merriweather” font is currently loaded through the jsDelivr content delivery network (cdn.jsdelivr.net).
When this resource is retrieved, your browser connects to servers used by jsDelivr. In the process, connection data is transmitted for technical reasons. This may include, in particular, your IP address, browser information, the requested resource, referrer information, and the date and time of the request.
The processing is carried out to ensure a consistent and technically reliable presentation of the website.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in a consistent and performant presentation of the website.
7. Interactive Map with OpenStreetMap
An interactive map is available on the “The Case” page.
The map does not load automatically. When the page is loaded normally, this map feature does not retrieve map tiles from OpenStreetMap or Leaflet resources from unpkg.com.
Only when you click the “Load map” button does your browser retrieve the external resources required for the map.
In particular, the following are
- Leaflet resources from unpkg.com
- OpenStreetMap map tiles
loaded.
In this process, technically necessary connection data, in particular the IP address of your internet connection, is transmitted to the respective services.
The processing is triggered only by your active request to load the map.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in giving interested visitors a geographic overview of locations relevant to the case without contacting the required third-party providers during a normal page load.
If you do not wish to load the map, you can use the rest of the website without these external map connections.
8. TranslatePress and Language Selection
TranslatePress is used for the German and English versions of this website.
The English version is available under the “/en/” URL path.
Under the current technical configuration, language selection during a normal anonymous visit does not require its own cookie or an entry in Local Storage or Session Storage.
No automatic requests to external translation services were observed when the translated pages were loaded normally.
9. Cookies and Similar Storage Technologies
During a normal visit while not logged in, the publicly accessible pages currently do not set their own cookies for analytics, tracking, or marketing purposes.
Under the current technical configuration, Local Storage and Session Storage are also not used to identify visitors.
Technically necessary WordPress cookies may be used for administrators or logged-in WordPress users. These do not affect normal public visits to the website.
10. Server-Side Access Statistics, Advertising and Embedded Media
The Webalizer statistics provided by the hosting provider are used to statistically evaluate the use of this website.
The analysis is based on server access logs. IP addresses are stored in truncated form in these logs. The underlying log files are deleted after seven days.
No additional tracking cookies are set for these statistics, and no JavaScript-based tracking is used in the browser. The generated statistics are protected from public access by directory authentication.
The processing is carried out to understand the use of the website in aggregated form and to improve the operation and content of the website as needed. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in statistical analysis and the technical and editorial improvement of the website.
In addition, the following are currently not used:
